There are posters on here who will suggest it's all about technique, which is ******** I'm afraid..unless you're Geoff Capes it's simply unusable. Don't be afraid of cutting the side stand down.. I did mine with a hacksaw and took it to the local blacksmith who welded it for a tenner.....it's a very simple job. You should get it done ASAP before you're bike falls over.

Do you cut the stand at the foot? and how much needs to come off? I have the 25mm lowering kit. thanks

I just fitted the center stand from a Tenere with ABS which is lower.

Thanks ill look into that!

I lowered mine with 3,5 cm. I had to weld some 4mm plates on both lower ends of the ABS-version main stand so the rear wheel wouldn't touch the ground when on the main stand.

Hi there,

FYI, I may have for sale a set of lowering bones complete with side stand already cut and welded ready to install ??

I may also have for sale a centre stand in good nick if you fancy ??

All depends if I get home over the weekend to pick it up ??

If you are interested I will PM you after the weekend once I got them ready for sale.

Chris

Greetings
Just wondered if the side stand was still available? I've done a 20mm lower both ends too. The mainstand I fitted is a bit of a heave now but just manageable (without luggage fitted) The lowered side stand would help if available.
Regards
Mentira
