Air filter comparison

Hi,

I'm going to install in the Tenere Kev mod and a new air filter. Which is better, OTR http://www.off-the-road.de/en/XT-660...307b2bd87db0ef

I've seen other posts on this and the responses were basically that a DNA filter or type of filter will flow more air, but could let dust in, so if you ride off road a lot and in dusty conditions, the OTR foam filter is a better option. That's the one I went for, but partly because I have other bikes that run foam filters so I already have cleaning and oiling kit to hand.

I use the OTR one off road quite a lot both off road in Spain and Maroc.....only now is it starting to degrade after numerous cleans over the past couple of years. Talcum powder type dust is prevalent in both types of going

I prefer an oiled filter(with proper air filter oil) over e.g. a cotton filter..I can put as much oil on it as I see fit and it can be rinsed in petrol when I'm traveling.

Just say'in like...

:)
