Another big thanks to Kev: O2 mod mounted...
So i thought to give it a try as well. My O2 mod came in today. As well as my new MTC titanium single can by the way. Mounted it today and went for a 20 km drive. That became over 100 kms, with a big grin!
Wow Kev, your mod really turned the Ten into a dream to ride! Cruising at low revs, then opening the throttle and no thumping anymore whatsoever. She purrs like a kitten now (if you can talk about purring with this new exhaust :047:) and just became soooo smooth! I would even say my Ten became smoother than my old Africa Twin and the modified 950 Adventure S i had before. Feels way more powerful and finally turned into a bike i really love to ride. So, as the title says: Kev, a big thanks to you for developing your O2 mod. This is a genius piece of tuning! |
Agreed Harry, Kev is a genius!!!!

Glad you are happy with the results, the O2 controller does help the low end surging & adds more torque to the motor. |
No genius Simon, just build mods that improve your rides & always Dyno test them so I can back up what I say, they will improve your ride.
Development never stops for me, I have just built some O2 controllers for my new KTM 1290, I will be back on the Dyno next weekend testing them. http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps95b4666a.jpg http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps81738bca.jpg Now a 2in1 O2 controller with 2 completely indpendant circuits. http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/a...psd37c1b7f.jpg http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/a...psa084c929.jpg My 1290 mods are building: http://www.ktmsmt.com/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=6511 |
