handlebar
which handle bar is recommended to give a minor rise and a comfortable bend without changing trottle or clutch cables? I don't like the original, presses to hard to the inside of the hand(thumb). Thanks

You can just put a small riser of max 30 mm below the bars. No need to replace them. Risers is available from cheap to very expensive. I've just bought some cheap ones off ebay. I just choose a seller with cheap postage to my part of the world :-)
The following is just an exampler: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Handle-bar...item5d306e4211 Just search for "30mm riser 22mm" |

I'd take a look at some Renthal 722-01 Dakar "medium" bars, the sweep is about half of that on the stock bars. They're about 25-30mm higher than stock, so not too much, and are exactly the same width. You should be able to get away with the standard cables. Renthal do a 613 Daker "high", which is popular, but they are 35mm wider, much higher and would require some "cable-fiddling". http://www.intobikes.co.uk/products/000067/Renthal-Dakar-High-Handlebar If you want bars with hardly any sweep at all, then take a look at some 7/8" trials bars. See if you can find an MX shop locally that carries Renthal bars in stock, get some in your hands and see how the different sweep dimensions feel. |
Now that's what i call help, thanks!!!:HappyRoll_ANPIUI:

Or try one of the Magura X-Line bars. Very different than Renthal, but pricey. The EX worked for me with 2cm higher risers. Cables are fine. Help with vibes, too.
