R clips

Hi

The R Clips on the caliper retaining pins on Ten....keep pinging off! i get back from a ride and there is always one bloody missing!

im based in the UK, where can i get them from?

I've trawled my workshop at home & work and there either too big, too small, too thin, too fat!

A lot of small R clips are 2mm thick, where the Tenere ones are 1.5mm. And a lot of online place just say "small"...and don't list the sizes.

Any ideas?

You're just to rough Phil !!! if they keep coming off i'd be tempted to use wire and twist the end together ,but then again i'm an animal :tard:

Phil, I've used these before for some other bits. Delivery is a bit expensive, but they do the 1.5mm R-clips. Link: B&T

You can go straight to the top of the class :WellDone_OROQR1::WellDone_OROQR1:
I'm going straight down to the local rc store tomorrow.

Tis still a good idea to wirelock them in place if your bike is prone to throwing them.

Or a small cable tie around the open ends to prevent them from spreading.

Worth a try before you end up with a whole :gbxtank: battalion!!!!
