Got my lights on.......29.99

And they work a treat.....

Got them at Halfords, they are RING micro fog lamps.

They are tiny little units and give a really nice spread of light...

Way better than just the main beam.

Fitting was not to bad, had to make a little ali bracket to fit them where I wanted them on the bike.

Took the bike out last night and went through some pitch black forest roads and they did a great job.

Wired them into the main beam bulb and gave them a good long test, no warm wires anywhere so assume that it's ok. All fused up already anyway so no fires hopefully...lol

Indeed, I will get some done tomorrow.....

Let me know if you want some when you've seen the pics and I can send 'em over to you if you want.....unless you got a Halfords in France......

Here are the pics as promised.

They might be a bit vulnerable here on the trails but I will see how I go. I might move them up to where the indicators are at the moment and then mod my side lights into indicators like somewhere here has already done.....looks cool and you don't need the side lights as the dipped headlight is always on....

Anyway, they are bright and compact, way better than just the main beam which in all fairness is Effing useless....

HI,

can you do a close up pic of how you mounted them. I am about to get something as well bit not sure on the mounting.

Also how have you got them switched?

No problem, they are nicely adjustable too with the mount I had to make, up down left right.

Took them out again last night to fine tune them, got one lighting up the ground a little further than the stock does and one way up lighting up the distance.

Juddering was a big problem so I moved the bracket back slightly so the light actually rests on the body work with a tiny amount of pressure.

That cured it...

completely stable...
