Maybe do a rear sprocket carrier bearing mod? This will make your transmission damper rubbers last a lot longer and your chain to.

What mod is this? My sprocwke carrier bearing failed last week (bike is on 12K miles)

Put in a second bearing next to the original one (or one wider BMW frontwheel bearing).
