i have a XT660x 2008 orange-blue (stock)
Yesterday afternoon my motor makes a very loud noice!
I dont now what it is :missing:my bike has 40.000 km !

I think that you need to tell us more so our experts can make some suggestions. So what were you doing at the time?? Has the engine stopped? What is the situation now?? Is it losing oil? Over to you, Simon

pinpoint the noise and where exactly it comes from, i.e. the sump (clutch problems) the head / cylinder area (big end problems) but by all accounts you should take it to an authorized Yamaha dealer and get them to check it out sooner rather than later to avoid expensive repair costs.

The 2008 orange is a beauty, surely one of my favourits. Good luck with fixing the bike, I hope it sorts out.
