Xtx swing arm in Xtr

Just wondering if you sorted the alu swing arm completely as yet.
If so I take it you need
1/ rear xtx or tenere axle with chain ajusters
2/xtx chain runner
3 longer rear brake line
may I ask if there is anything else.
Regards
Steve

Sorry for haven,t reply I have no XT more and are not here often.
I loan the XTX swing arm and didn,t test with the chain slides.
Everything incl axle, swing arm, adjuster came from the XTX when I tested it and it is bolt on and correct you have to get a longer brakeline!

Assuming the mounting point for the suspension is the same distance from the swing arm pivot on both, then if the swing arms are different lengths, the suspension will behave differently.

A longer swing arm will produce more force when moved meaning less spring and less damping causing the rear of the bike to squat more. Basicly sofetining up the back end.
A shorter swing are will have the opposite effect, making the suspension stiffer.
