Changing bike colour
 

I have a black '04 xt-r

I want to make it Orange.

I see the '06 xt-x is orange and looks to have the same pannels.

Besides the front fender being different will i have any problems doing a straight swop? Thanks for help!

The 06 XT660X has a black front fender/mudguard so you would possibly need side covers, tail piece, headlight shell with Orange screen and seat cover....... All a straight swap.....

Be careful though, unless you can buy a complete used set the colour match on some panels is very poor. I replaced my side panels and these were a great match so I ordered up a new tail piece which was a completely different shade and had to be returned. Yamaha said it was within acceptable limits which was total rubbish..........
