MT 03 kev fuel mod

I thought about head porting an MT 03, putting on an open muffler, and maybe modifying the airbox if there are any known mods.

Does the kev fuel mod work on this bike? Will it be possible to make the bike run good without a power commander, despite the relatively big modifications?

Sounds pretty good!
From looking at the intake ports there seems to be a lot to improve too.
Soo, how do I get to know these mods? :)

Yes I've seen them but they don't really answer my questions, or have I missed something?

When I ported my XT660 head I removed all the big lips under the seats, flowed & polished the intake & exhaust ports. If you are going to port your motor you will need a custom Power Commander map.

I would not bother with the standard air box I would fit a pod filter looks like you could get one in there nicely.

Ok, that's the answer I wanted. The problem is that PC + bench mapping costs around 600 Euro in Sweden..

Btw, intake ports should not be polished, preferably they should have a rough surface!

Thanks for the airbox tips!
