Xt660 challenge- The Game.....

Thought Id start up the xt660 Challenge- The Game.....

Have done it for years on my other forums and it allways proves a laugh.

Rules are simple.......a Challenge is set in terms of taking a photo with your bike and the first person to post their pic wins.

For example....... Take a photo of your bike having an ice cream..... Winning photo could be your bike at an ice cream van/shop or with a cone or lollipop on it etc.

Just thought it would be a laugh and get folks out in their areas taking snaps...it can get quite addictive too haha

First challenge then...........

Take a picture of your bike with its favourite pet.

Snapped this one when I went to feed my Large Blacks yesterday evening.

(They are a very special rare breed I'm working on for Midlife Crisis - genetically modified with only one bone - each pig is basically just a single giant spare rib. ;) )

Nice idea for a bit of fun, Chris. Shame it hasn't generated much response so far, but well done to Pleiades for the first one.

Okay, I'll have a crack at this challenge then... Here's my bike beside the Somerset monument near Hawkesbury Upton in Gloucestershire. The monument was erected in 1846 to commemorate General Lord Somerset. The tower is approximately 100 feet tall. Until the late 1970s the monument was open to the public and the observation platform could be reached by climbing the spiral staircase of 144 steps. On a clear day the tower gives a view of seven counties. In recent years parts of the structure have fallen into disrepair and it is no longer considered safe for the public to enter.

Personal note: I'd forgotten what a pain it is to have to upload pics to Photobucket before they can be linked here to the forum. Isn't there a better way to upload pics directly onto the forum?
Cheers,
Dave.

Nice one Dave! :023:

Let's get some momentum going with this thread.

Over to you then for the next photo challenge...

Challenge #3: Take a picture of your bike next to a well-known bridge over a river in your area...
Extra points awarded (well kudos anyway) for the biggest river and/or the biggest/oldest bridge!
