Leo Vince X3 Repacking needed?

I have Leo Vince X3 Slip-on fitted on my Xt660r -04.
My question; Is it advisable to repack them?

I read somewhere that Leo Vince x3 has a mechanical baffle and
that repacking is not needed or not even advisable.
The rivets holding the silencers together also reinforces
this statement to not dismantle easily.

Can anyone comment on this?

Yes they have a mechanical baffle, leave them alone and ride it.

There is packing inside a mechanical baffle. I opened one of my Leo's the other day on my Kato to have a look, it did not need repacking but did the one I opened anyway.

Ok, Thanks for the info!

Kev, did you notice any difference in sound after repacking one of them?

I have been running somewhat 15 000 km on my LeoVince x3.
The sound is quite nice, wouldn't mind a few dBA less.
But repack them might not make much of a difference then?

No not really that is why I did not do the other side, these Leo's will do high mileage before you would need to repack them as they run a baffle + a fine mesh stainless steel flame retardant sleave which seems to preserve the packing very well.:violent5:
