Does it really matter? Having bought it second hand I got no paperwork with mine so I just plugged it in. Is there any setting up needed that you require the led for?

Plug & play & way you go, the O2 controller remaps the closed loop circuit in real time.

OEM bike with the Kev Mods

Just wanted to let folks who have the OEM exhausts and Air filtration know that the KEV MODS mentioned in this thread work wonders even without changing anything else on the bike.

After putting both magical boxes on the bike, I took it out for a 230 km ride and noticed that the bike's throttle response was smooth at all RPMs. I hit the rev limiter a couple of times because the bike was running so sweetly in the 6k RPM range!

And in first gear, running along single track trails, the engine response to throttle inputs is SMOOTH.... No more "herky-jerky" while crawling around rocks!

I know, I know, everyone has said it before, but these mods make the bike so much more pleasant to ride. Thanks much for the great products, KEV!

O2 mod on Tenere

Was a bit sceptical as the Tenere runs pretty well but went ahead and bought the O2 mod.

Turned up pretty quickly and really simple to fit, used some double sided tape to stick the unit underside the tank.

Result. It's one of those changes that is quite subtle but once you realise the change you really really appreciate it. So whereas the bike had nothing under 3k revs and demanded a downshift it now pulls smoothly from down to somewhere nearer 2k revs. Saves lots of shifting and makes off roading or slow speed manouvering much much better, the bike doesn't feel over geared down low.

Recommended.

Thanks for your feedback, running the closed loop richer improves the torque in the lower RPM which make the bike respond better & ride smoother.

If any forum members are looking for Fuel + O2 controller or the Controller & Fuel mods separately send me a PM & we can have a chat.

O2 controller

Just fitted on my new Tenere, only 200 km on the odo. Five minutes to install and it was an easy job: I used only fingers as my torch decided to die.
It takes me some minutes to catch the difference but once I realize I changed the drive style.
The Ten runs smooth on all the rev range, there is more torque at low revs. I dont have to shift down gear as much as before, the engine is smooth even under 3k revs.
Now its another bike, really fun to ride.

Definetly a "must" mod, thank you Kev
