Checking in

Well there I was looking for a chain and sprocket kit when I came across the forum so I duly joined, and after a couple of days of hesitation, I'm new to this, thought right go for it, so
Hi everyone, thought I'd better introduce myself, originally from the south of England I've now lived in central western France for more than 10 years. First bike was a James 250 2-stroke twin followed by a couple of Bonnies, built a Triton then seriously crashed it after that a couple of small commuters then nothing until 2008 when on impulse I bought my XTR. To be honest I didn't really like the look of it at first (sorry guys) I thought the style too futuristic for me but the minute I got on Isaid yep suits me.
I have never ridden a bike that is as comfortable and sure footed as this and the feeling of being part of the machine (ugh clich) is very reassuring. That big single lump suits my style of riding and the injectoritis is not too much of a hassle cos there aren't many towns round these parts and a lot of minor roads in good nick with light traffic . purfick.

This ones for keeps !!
