Newbie to the forums.

Hi all, Just picked up my xtx yesterday. After riding bandit 600's and 1200's, This is a different kettle of fish. Where has this bike been all my life, HAHA. Love the vibe'ness and nimble'ness.

One question i do have tho. My brake light cover seems loose, but all screws and nuts seem tight. Well i dont want to overtighten them and crack the housing.
Is this normal? or am i missing some padding?

Anyhow here's a pic....

:hello: and :welcome: to :660:

The rear light cover is designed to be loose because of the vibrations that a big single cylinder such as this make. If it were to be made tight the light bulb will shake so much it wouldn't last you a day.

if you think that the bolts overloose, maybe any of the two plastic bases, that hold the light, is broken from the vibrations. check it by looking at the back of tailight.

Will take a look at that, cheers.
