Freeflow - need to tune?
 

Was wondering.. if I remove the baffles from the stock pipes on my XT660R (2009 model), would I need to have it tuned ? Someone told me that if I remove the baffles, it would run too lean and I could develop valve damage. I'm a total noob and any help would be appreciated!

I think you're pretty safe messing with the can. The real benefit is by changing the filters and adding a Kev-Mod, or a PC-V.
