a historical challenge?
In August 1913 a remarkable motorcycle event was inaugurated in Carlisle, Cumberland, England. It was originally known as the International Six Days Reliability Trial; very soon after this the word reliability was dropped from the title. Later, in 1980, the name was changed again to the familiar International Six Days Enduro. I have been fortunate enough to have finished three of them.
my name is down for the 3 day offroad bit, i hope to be accepted, planning to be using the tenere. so have a look, consider it at least!, http://bigbikerallychallenge.co.uk/c...ntennial-rally as gulgo has shown us the lakedistrict is a truly wonderful place! |
Brilliant. I might just organise a mini meet for August.
Great find Bernard. Give me a shout if you need anything. |
hi Darren, you might rue the day you offered to help!

I'm planning on racing, assuming both me and the bike come back from the US in one piece.
I think Enduro374 and Haakon were both looking at it as well, so we could have a good gathering of Tenere's in the paddock. |
I've also had my name down for a while and plan to ride the Ten'.
GULG - How far are you from Carlisle - just in case? |
