Daft things
Have you ever had any thoughts of doing really out the box on a bike?
Ride a BMW C1 to north cape or ride a scooter in the dunes in morocco or take goldwing somewhere off road? I'm just looking for a few ideas of silly trips that may be doable and must be fun. :smilies0943::smilies0943::smilies0943: |

Yeh, Ive seen those and the one to ride form cape town to north cape on a sccoter, also the C90 to north Africa.
I think I am gtting a bit bored of normal biking and just looking for another FUN way riding. I took a Honda CRf 230 for a 100 miile plus run around the b roads of Wales and had a ball. No speed, no acceceration, no adrenaline, but had a great time and got to chat with a few interesting people. Last year I rode through France to Spain with out using the Auto-routes and it was more enjoyable than the offroading in the Pryenees. Just looking for some inpiration!!! :thumbsup[1]: |
My brother and I are thinking about JoG to LE on a pair of monkey bikes some time next year as a bit of a publicity stunt for his business -

Thats what I mean. That sounds a real blast especially as you not be on the motorway. Keep us posted!!!! |
I suspect whatever you decide someone will say "done it" so choose something which grabs your interests, for example visiting every distillery in Scotland, buying a bottle, steaming the label off and sticking them on your bike. Know what you mean about taking the slow route tho, since I have had the XTR the thou has sulked in the garage unloved.

Hermy. Good point about it all being done before. I get that, just looking for something different to keep my interest up.
I think I'll go to a big bike shop and see if anything excites me. |
