New Boy
 

Hi all, I'm not exactly a boy as I am 55 this month HA HA! I have had bikes all my life starting with a Triumph Tina scooter URGHH. then my first legal bike - a new Garelli Record moped. Good engine, crap brakes and the tyres might as well have been made from plastic for all the use they were.
I have had many bikes over the years but currently have a Suzuki B-King the Yamaha XT660Z Tenere and a 78 Triumph Bonneville T140V. Since having the Ten I have not ridden the B-King. I have added Givi aluminium panniers, larger rear sprocket (2 teeth) and smaller front sprocket (1 tooth). I realise the speedo is now out, but by how much I have no idea.
My first attempt at off roading was on my local mountain, I soon realised the standard tyres weren't up to it so immediately changed to a pair of Mehtzler Karoo's. Big difference, the Ten now pulls through mud instead of trying to dance a jig and stopping dead. Not much rumble from the road either.
My seat has just been sent off for reshaping etc to Custom Seats of Coventry so I will include photo's when I get it back. Thats all I can think of for now, cheers everyone.
