Best road tyres

Hi All,

Have now read all your great threads and replys about tyres but can anyone tell me the best tyres for road only use?

Bridgestone Battlewing (but that's just my very humble personal opinion) followed by Dunlop Trialmax (also very subjective) . To be fair with you, I can honestly say I haven't actually tried every conceivable alternative, so I'd take this advice with a pinch of salt! ;)

On my XT660X I just recently fitted a pair of Pirelli Diablos and I have so far covered about 1500kms and the bike feels great both in the dry and in the wet. Hope this helps!!!

Battlewings the best, can go off-road if needed

I'm sure they stick like sh;t to a blanket Simon, shame they don't come in sizes for the Tenere! ;)

I've tried a few, and Metzeler Tourance EXP are my favourite road tyres at the mo. Feel more sure-footed than std Tourance.

I prefer the Pirelli Scorpion Trail over the battlewings. Wear is better and they grip better in the wet.
It's all very subjective as it depends on how you ride!
