Hi there!

New 'R owner here. Back in the bike business after an 8 year pause (the usual void excuses; bought house, got kids etc.)
My last bike was a Blackbird so this is quite a change. Why did you choose a bike like this you may ask. Several reasons: its much slower (I just can't help myself and now I'm a double-dad so I have to take care of myself), but its just as fun, much lighter and waay cheaper (purchase, insurance, mileage - and (fingers crossed) if I crash it).

So far I'm happy with it apart from the surging. Haven't decided wether to go the kev+o2 mod or the pc way yet. Cans+filters is being swapped when winter sets in.

Plenty of reading to do here on the subject of surging; there is (almost) an answer to everything - if you can find it, and if you can't find it, just ask! Remember, God created the long winter nights for modding, tinkering, fiddling and farkling motorcycles - so enjoy. :D
