Im currently working on a prototype and will probably have one pair finished till this weekend. So hopefully I could try them on a short adventure ride this saturday to give them an evaluation!

If everything seems fine, then I will produce a couple of pairs for those of you who are interested and send them on anodic treatment. So first or second week in september I would have some ready for shipment. (hopefully) :045:

I use Pivot Pegz. Very good, very expensive.

Good job! Will they fit XTR/XTX as well?

I don't know actually, that depends on if it is the same footpegs on the XTX/XTR as on the XTZ..... Maybe someone else could answer that question?

iShoe 27-08-12 01:29

Pegs from Z and R/X are different but you can fit Z on X easily ;)

Same here.... If you do alot of standing there's nothing better....

xphase 30-08-12 15:18

How many of you would be interested in buying pair of these footpeg wideners? My guess is that final price would be around 50-60 with optional color!

Please also post what color you would like. (just to know which color are the most popular...)

Black
Silver
Blue
Red
Orange

iShoe 12-09-12 18:55

Is there a pic of final product?

+1. I agree. Standing up without your feet curling around the original pegs like a sparrow on a barbed-wire fence is a very grand thing. Even if your wallet does lose weight suddenly.

So no doubt the widener under discussion will be a comfortable, cost-effective upgrade.

xphase 24-09-12 19:54

Ok, finaly I have got them anodized in three different colours....

I only have 6 pairs right now.... and they will cost $79 each.

This is the final product images!

Any available still.
Black/Red or Silver, in that order.
When you say $79, what $ are you talking about, US, AUS, Euro or the reliable Greek Drchma?

Rod. Australia. PM Sent.

Looking good!
