I have one very simular a DRC ===> http://www.cycletreads.co.nz/images/...300&height=350
It won't quite fit under the seat or
in the tail unit.. but I carry it in the
tail bag with the rest of the tools ,
tubes , patches etc..
the DRC one comes in a bag with
ties to strap it on..

ok, brilliant, thanks! so do you just cruise around with a toolbag on the back all the time? i thought of doing that but not sure of the security issues ie is it easy to steal? would look good, giving it the moto look though! i got a puncture last night so hoping i don't get caught out again!

thanks for your help

There's no reason why you can't..

Every time I use the bikes they have a rear bag &
front guard bag on...
My bikes don't move unless I'm going for a ride..
I don't cruise around or commute on them..

Check out CHAIN REACTION i found they where the cheapest for this pump .Just watch some of the pumps look like they have a metal body but infact it"s silver plastic better to spend a few quid on one thats gonna work than find out its **** when you need to use it .I dont go anywhere without a small back pack to fix punctures .

Best of all it converts into a chair or a cup/beer holder, if you got panniers azwel its a table & chairs

Woottonboy 08-08-12 12:20

why not get a....

much smaller, double action (so it pumps as you push and pull), top quality, mountain bike pump?

AND YES BEFORE ANYONE ARGUES THE POINT YOU CAN SEAT MOTOR BIKE TYRE WITH A TYRE WITH A PUSH BIKE PUMP!!!

To add my two pennethworth: the airman compact sits perfectly in the space left by the snorkle.

spen 08-08-12 19:54

I thought the idea was to remove the snorkle to let more air in ,seems daft to block the space with a pump

true enough but the restriction in air flow is more in the air box than above and the pump sits in front of the hole into the box not over it. I once spent ages trying to understand why my GS650 would not run right......cleaning rag over the air intake....d'oh.

Exactly!
I use one like this, its telescopic so push/pull lenght is triple the actual size of the pump.
Works great, saved us manny times. Small sized and lightweight!
Just perfect!
I bought one random for 10€.
