Prevention is the best. First walk through the water, look for big rocks and slippery bottoms. Best is to find the wides spot because there the river is less deep, small waves are good (not deep) quiet water is not good (deep).

Is you are uncertain have someone walk next to you during the crossing. Stand on the pegs because then a rock does not put you out of balance only your bike and you will be able to re-balance.

nice vid! I think I've to put this country onto my travelling agenda for one of the next years. Of course not the rally, less speed means more attention for the beautifull scenery
