GIVI Engine Bars?
 

Hi i,ve been wanting a set of crash bars for my 07 X and found these GIVI ones on Ebay. Looking at the pics it seems to be very close fitting to the oil filter, in fact it looks as though you,d need to remove one side in order to change the filter ! Has anyone had these fitted ? Cheers T

No, you don't.
If you have yamaha bash plate, they aren't compatible. At least for me.

Thanks cca, I dont have any bash plate at the moment so these should be ok? at 60 quid i think they look ok.

As for oil filter change, two bolts can be removed, third one not completely , but you will have more than enough space to rotate the cover and change the filter without any problem.
