Thanks for the welcome. Its a new 660 tenere in black. Looked at a redone but didn't match the deal i got from Chorley and i preferred the black. On site now looking for luggage etc. Never mind france or spain you have to put your shopping in something! Great site for findig stuff out,lots of useful knowledge out there. Hope to be a regular.

Great choice mate and welcome.
Now you can spend hours trolling through forums and aftermarket suppliers for farkles.
Enjoy.

:hello: and :welcome: to :660:

Welcome and good choice. As for 'farkling' (I really hate that word!!!!), my first choice would be a centre stand. Working on your bike is so much easier as I've been finding out!!

hi and welcome

Welcome mate & congrats. Reckon you've made a wise choice. Looking forward to hearing about your farkle-bits.

Hello, welcome and enjoy the bike. Are you planning any fettling?:toothy2:

:006: Hello and welcome Toenail.

You made a wise choice, both in bike and colour :023:

Don't get too hung up on the farkles. Early doors; ride it, enjoy it and soon enough you'll discover what bling you need and more importantly what you don't!

Hello Toenail

(like the name..)

I know how you feel.. I am 5'6" and I have to swing a leg over (mind not to hit the rear) and then kinda JUMP the bike up using my weight to get it upright.

Once I am on its OK - I can shift my weight and legs either side and get a foot down but getting on is a chore - and as I get older (approaching 50) I can imagine it will get harder..

Enjoy the Tenere - great bike

+1 on a centre stand. You just gotta get that rear wheel up for maintenance and chain adjustments. Then put your credit card through the shredder.
You have been warned! :confused2::confused2::confused2:
