Jesse Luggage now available for the XT660Z

i just gave my bike to al jesse of www.jesseluggage.com so he could make welding jigs for the Yamaha XT660Z

just a word about them as an independent observer...

Jesse Luggage has been in business for 20 years and made 30,000 hard aluminum bags, on my personal rides around the world this is the luggage you will see the most, one simple reason is its quality of design, strength, and adjustable mounts to move the weight where you need it, forward for riding solo, backwards for riding two up

Al told me the bags that have been out there the longest have 385,000 miles on them

i will add more photos as i clean my bike from my last ride but for now here is what they look like on the bike

****right now they are not on the website but they will be soon (they are available), and you can have any size, mine combined are 110 liters and one inch wider than the Yamaha set up when mounted

any questions fire away...

Jesse luggage

These Jesse panniers look good on the XT660Z! I've looked at the website but no mention of the model/price yet. Do you know if they'll be in the same price class as the Super Tenere's luggage system?

best thing to do is call direct, ask to speak with AL (Jesse) he told me the price would be in the $1200 (around 800 pounds) range and that included all the mounts and everything you need...i just looked at Metal Mule priced at 1000 pounds and there is no comparison. Jesse's are made to go around the world

Al's a super nice guy let him know Paul sent you

Just came across this... Tenere looks great!
Few questions if I may:
What is overall width of this pannier setup?
Is there a cross brace in the Jesse rack, I've noticed that some of their racks don't have them?

Happy travels!

mine are 10 inch bags and are almost one inch wider than my bars, you can get any size you want these fit what i need, if you look at my ride report you'll see i only use these and a tank bag nothing else from about half way thru, couldn't be happier
