Hi Suds and welcome:039:

What are the "low" revs that you suffer from engine bogging?
Another thing you could try is lower final gearing (eg bigger rear sprocket). ( I may have mentioned this before elsewhere :eusa_think:)

I run a 47 tooth rear sprocket and it makes the engine significantly more willing (so less likely to bog down) - just as you would want for off-roading, of course.
I can pull away on my Ten at a very respectable pace by short-shifting with no more than a quarter throttle (being a bit of an anorak I've got my throttle grip painted with closed, half and full throttle position markers).

In any case, the engine will only get better (loosen up) with miles - just wait till you get to 100,000 miles!! :smilies0349:

Hi and welcome to the forum dude! Sure you'll grow to love the Ten, I came close to getting a Ten, but went for the X instead, mostly as I ride more roads-both great bikes, and once you start to mod....it's like Pringles, you won't stop! :)

Welcome & congrats on the new ride. Sounds like you'll soon have it set up right.

Thanks for all your welcomes. I've been a bit side tracked for the last few days, trying to sort out a new mobile for both me and the wife, and now that they have arrived I may be MIA while I configure (play with) them both. I have started to get bits for my lovely Ten so when I return to the real world I'll try to get some pics on here!
