Gday from Perth West Oz

Had my Tenere for just over 12 months now.
No mods and still running Tourance tyres atm.
Enjoy long day rides, say 500km, dirt roads, twisty tarmac or goat trails. As long as it isnt the Hwy.
Do hit the bush a bit and go hard, fall off, get up and do it all over again.:HappyRoll_ANPIUI:
My bike is my only wheels so l have to be a bit carefull not to bin it too badly.
Enjoy throwing the swag and the fishing rod on and heading out overnight also.

Cheers.

Welcome from Qld

G'day mate,

Welcome, good looking bike! By the look of that clutch lever a set of bark busters might need to be your next mod!

Cheers, Boneman

Cheers Fellas.

Yes my clutch leaver does have a bit of extra curve to it.
Thats what happens when you ride in the bush though, l should get some BB's.

I got a set, about 10 minutes to fit and they work a treat, look bling as well.

G'day Tenerod, congratulations on the ten. I'm quite jealous/inspired. Hopefully I'll be out there doing same on my own Tenere as well.

While i was out...

Been a while so here is an update.
Been riding to and from work on the black top, popping the occasional mono.
Been riding a few dirt roads and some tracks but not enough for my liking.
Lost the front end on a single track on a slimy almost dried up muddy puddle and popped the side stand spring off. Found it and used my incredible one arm strenth to reafix it while holding the bike up with the other.
Got a mate to weld the spring loop back on.
Been riding with a guy who has a DR650. Fun rides.
Rode through a water course, fun, fell off riding up the next grassy embankment (twice) bent the rear brake leaver. Not fun.
Got bogged in mud and sand the other day, so did my DR mate so no coudos lost.
Bought some FORMA Adventure boots, Mmmmmmmm, warm legs and feet.
Just dropped $$$ on OTR.
On there way are:- Crash bars, centre stand, high front guard and water pump protector.
The high front guard is in anticipation of my next tyre change.
Did a 535 km road ride today, got overtaken by a CB750 going into a right hand sweeper and then again by the same DH750 just after it. :woo:
Poor fool didnt know how to go around corners so i gave him a lesson, dont care if he learnt anything but it made me feel really really good.
Thats enough, more Sapporo please.
edit: got to get a new clutch leaver still.
