Just raised the XTR now slight problem
This is on the XTR, Raised the rear by fitting XTX dog bones and the front by using fork spacers now have a slight problem
When the bike is on the stand and both wheels are off the floor, the chain is being pinched by the bottom roller and pushing it up to the swinging arm, when the bike is down and im on it no problem This is not an issue when riding as there is clearance as the suspension in lower, do I leave it as is or remove the bottom roller not sure if its needed, ive done this mod before but dont remember it being an issue !!! Thanks Guys Rob |
Got a set of raiser links from Kev, did get a set of spacers but never fitted them and saw something similar but never did anything about it and after a good 6k miles with the links on the roller was only about 1/2 worn, and this was on a bike which had done 45k miles.
I would say just keep an eye on it |

There have also been other forum members making them too, have you done a search? |
Thanks guys ill leave it as it is then
Beany I used 2X 7/8ths 3/8 drive sockets that fit into the caps and give approx 25mm of extra spacing cheaper than buying the proper ones and work just as well |
thanks stumpydave, adventure boy, just thinking about raising the bike after ripping my bash plate.
