:hello: Hello and welcome.

There are some issues to be aware of; as Keith says they're covered in a host of other threads, spend some time searching the site. However, what I would say to you is don't let the talk of dodgy regulators, rusty spokes and soggy shocks put you off what is fundamentally a great bike.

Hi and welcome,

the only suggestion I have is, have a good look in the site, try a -good- road test. the teneres' are sound and reliable, the reg is a very small fault [easily rectified, pardon the pun!].

Some folks cannot get on with the bike, be it the height or vibes, its' down to you to decide. Mines been thrashed for the last 42,000mls and still ok

Hi and welcome to the forum:drunken_smilie:

Think things to look for has been covered, but get a test ride on one and see what you think. Same with most bikes, some people get them and think they are great, others just are more use to something different.

We ARE the Yamaha XT experience! We have more exciting dedicated events than Yamaha could ever think of or provide, for what I've heard their experience days is nothing short of disappointing. :024:

To be honest mate try our Lakeland ride for size, men from the boys and all that ;) :088:
