recommendation for sprocket

I saw many words about this, and now i'm confused... i just want to know...

What is the recommendation, from experts like you,for rear and front sprockets(How many tooth?-bike ride 80 % enduro).?

I mounted 14 on the front and 46 on the rear.I have a feeling that 14-45 is better for offroading.Should i put 47 or 48 on the rear,to get back some low rpm power... maybe 13 on the front sprocket...What is the best ratio by your opinion?

You can do the maths yourself: http://www.gearingcommander.com/

I have a 15/47 combination that suits me fine (most on tarmac + the daily dirt road short cut + occasional off-road tour)

+1 for 15/47.

A lot less of a struggle against head winds plus short shifting from the lights is a right giggle. Roll on acceleration from 5000 rpm is greatly improved and still get 60+mpg. Been thrashing my Ten a fair bit the last couple of weeks on M25/A3 (5500rpm) and still achieved 230 miles before reserve a number of times.

Although it may be easier to change the front sprocket I'd recommend changing just the rear as a larger sprocket helps spread the load on the chain.

I use standard rear and less one tooth front, makes for good off road and road.
