Picking up 2012 xtx on Friday. Can't wait
 

Took the demo xtx out at the weekend and loved it, so couldn't wait to get me hands on one. Previously only ever had sports bikes, last being a cbr600rr which was great fun but found them far too quick for me to enjoy.
If there's anyone around the Kent area that fancys going for a ride then give me a message.
Also if there's any problems I should be looking out for or advise for the xt's, then I'm all ears

Hi mate. I was the same, spent all my days with sports bikes and only changed to the XTX last year.

You'll enjoy the comfort more than anything. Oh yeah, and having a turning circle again lol

Welcome on board and this site is the dogs plonker for all things XT. I am lucky enuf to still have the R1 as well as the XT so I get the best of both worlds, the XT means you can have fun without losing your licence!!! Ciao!!

Welcome and hello. I've had a range of bikes over the last 21 years and it may not be the fastest, but the XTX is the most fun i've had on two wheels.
Do a search on mods and you'll get the picture with regards to making the bike ride like yamaha should have done in the first place. I guess they just knew there were people out there who liked tinkering.

Thanks all for the welcoming. Picked it up yesterday and I'm loving it. Looking for any excuss to pop to the shops or take mrs for lunch. Definitly needs a nice set of cans on it first (liking the price and look of the mtc) and then the mods can begin :)
