mine only surges at slow speeds around town in traffic...
on the highway its good... & I very rearly ride it around town...
In traffic at slow speeds drop it a gear bring the revs up... good as...

Going down a gear doesnt help, it actually maks it a bit worse. It surges at light throttle whatever gear im in and any speed

I have many XT660 mods

Fuel adjustable mods
O2 elinimator mod
Front fork Spacer Mod
Rear links mod
Tail tidy mod
Big bore mods
Cam mods & many more.

A few of them I do not make anymore, but the info is all in my mod book.

What year is your XT660 & what mods are fitted to your bike & how many miles have you done?

hagland2431 16-03-12 13:10

Hi kev it is a 2010 with 2700 miles. Only mod is mtc cans

CO2 is on 21

TPS is on 15

Idleing warm at between 1480rpm to 1650rpm

I havent done any of these, this is what they were on

To sort your bike out, you need to control the closed loop circuit, if you don't you will never get your XT660 to run smoothly, you have a choice.

A Power Commander PCV + Dyno Jets O2 Optimizer
Or
One of my fuel mods + my O2 eliminator.

My fuel mods are still for sale & if you want to make your own O2 eliminator the full instructions on how to make one & where to buy the parts from are listed in my latest Mod book edition.
