Motocross Front Mudguard Pictures
Fitted my front mudguard today (Polisport)...Removed the towing eye completely and only had to use a small spacer at the rear to allow the rear of the guard to clear the radiator plastic guard screws/bracket. ideal for the job were the spacers that come off kids BMX or cheap mountain bike brakes. The spacers re where the brake blocks get adjusted to allow them to meet the rim at an ideal angle. No doubt every house has an old bike from which to steal them from. I also fitted a Pipercross foam air filter but have yet to take the XT out for a blast to see if there's a difference.

Looks good. You are lucky to have the black bike so there is a good match. I have a blue Tenere and the blue plastics are the wrong colour.
Spotted the sheep in the second picture in the background but then notice its a Pyrenean mountain dog. Great place to live, great bike and a fantastic dog. seems to me your sorted. I will be the first to admit to having several old bikes around. |
Thanks for the kind words DickyC...
I was originally looking for a blue XTZ but found this one locally and yes,it does match the colour better IMO too. I fitted an chain oiler so pleased with that too. The polar bear is indeed as you say.....eats like a horse too lol :) |
same one is waiting for me at post office :icon_wink:...
