My best advice to you will cost you 10! Join the XT Supporter's scheme link herebelow: http://www.xt660.com/showthread.php?t=1475

and once you are a member please pm Kev our in-house mechanic who will give you step by step instructions on how and what to change in order to completely overhaul your engine by yourself.

It's the best advice I can give you, Kev is a magician and very thorough in his detailed instructions.

thanks for your opinion, but I do not know level of engine mess like to be the mechanic.
I just wanted to know what they think of putting material (the piston crankshaft, camshaft) from Wiseco?

CaptMoto 19-12-11 02:25

Well I know Kev has either used or recommended wiseco parts before so, I don't think it'll be a wrong move using them. Just make sure you have a qualified mechanic doing the work, one you can trust and remember the average workshop charges you for

1) stripping the engine
2) rebuilding it

so it can be a very expensive affair.

Replied to your PM.

I prefer to use CP pistons as they have longer skirts compared to JE & Wisco pistons. You will get more mileage with a longer skirt piston.
