noise from front brake
 

HI ALL
well i did get hold of the second hand tenere the other day,but when i came to do the paper work i found it was a 2010 bike:emoticons:

anyway on riding it home i noticed that when i put the front brake on light or even hard it sounds like ive got a rattle snake type of noise coming from them,thats the only way i can describe the sound,it seems to be coming from the disc's or pads,

the bike is stock with only 1400k's on the clock,ive had a look at the pads and there like new (as they should be with only 1400k's)had a go at rubbing them down,and its still the same,can it be any other thing that i am over looking???

That's fairly normal and usually a combination of things; the floating discs rattling, the new pads moving over the holes in the discs etc. It'll likely disappear as everything beds in with a bit more time/distance. Mine did this from new for about 2K miles, and did exactly same when the pads were changed (with OE ones).
