Fuel tank bolts

Bought some sw motech crash bars last week. Came to fit them and one of the fuel tank blts is seized. Its one of those that has a 6" extension on, so when I try and turn it the whole thing just twists, distorts. Anyone else got any ideas? I don't want to use heat as it right next to the tank.

Also bloody ignition barrel has started playing up, key will/wont work. Is there a quick fix?

Cheers

I fitted some yesterday, mine came off with abit of force, i used
a long bar on the allen key, you could try soaking it with
WD40 over night, if not take tank off & get some pipe grips
on it, hope this helps

Cheers Alpine, took it local garage to try a buzz gun. That didn't work so got the big bar on... you guessed it bolt sheared. Well at least it gives me an excuse to take the tank off and check the valves. Bolt was very corroded unlike the otherside.

This is the end reult when the bike's assembled with dry threads at the factory.

Fortunately for me, I managed to get these bolts off without any issue but did re-assemble with some ACF50 afterwards..
