hand protectors
 

I,m new to this & not realy sure how to drive these forum things....anyway I been enjoying my XTX660 for 4 years now. I was looking at some of the photos in the gallery and wondered where I could get some of the hand protectors and whether they came in different colours or just black?

Hi there, I've moved this thread in the appropriate section.

The official hand protectors offered by Yamaha are non other than Acerbis Rally Pro rebadged with the Yamaha logo and only available in black, however on eBay you can pick a lot of Acerbis Rally Pro in many different colours as you can see on this link:

In my experience the Yamaha Acerbis ones are very good and work well, saving you replacing levers if the bike falls over of course. They are very tough and also good looking but I fear that Yamaha may have stopped having them made so you can try and fine some in existing dealer stock OR get some Acerbis ones of course, but I could not find my way around their web site.
