xt660z immobilizer light question
 

just after going into the garage to admire the xt again and noticed that the immobilizer light was constantly on (not flashing like before),so i started it to make sure it started ok which it did.

then it started flashing but not like before, it is flashing 5 slow times the 2/3 quick flashes, so i look in the manual and it says to take to a yam dealer.
i started it again and now its flashing slowly and constant flashes (no 2/3 quick flashes)

anyone else had this ?

Not like that but a couple of times the light wasn't flashing at all. Turned the ignition on and off again and it was ok.

That's normal. It will only flash for 24 hours after the ignition was last turned off, it then stays off but the immobilizer is still in operation.

It was just after turning the ignition off. Still, no worries.

ok the code thats coming up is saying that the immobilizer is getting "interference" from somewhere ????
