Renthal RC High Fat Bar fitting - Thread Pitch help
 

Fitted a Renthal RC high fat bar my Z, I am now ready to cut the internal threads on the inside of each bar end to enable fitment of the original bar end weights, however I don't own a thread pitch gauge. Does anyone know the pitch of the thread on the standard bar end weights? I think it's got to be either M16x1.5 or M16x1.25. Any help much appreciated.

Had mine done from an engineering firm in Scotland, unfortunately i cant recall sizes but the engineer did stipulate that the thread were non-standard so it may pay to get a few opinions on sizing before proceeding.

Ok, solved. For future reference, the thread on the original bar end weights for the XT660Z is M16x1.5. I now have the taps for this, if anyone wants to use these, I'm happy to post them to you and you can post them back after you have tapped your bars.
