Getting Wet and Muddy in East Sussex

Recipe for a great day ...

Take 3 Teneres (Nick, Martin and Mark), 1 KTM (Grant) and 1 XT600 (Rob).

Add Lots of rain and lots of Mud.

Mark was rider of the day - road tyres and the only one not to fall off or get stuck.

Good to see the bikes being used for what they were built for ,well done guys looked a right laugh :hello2:

Yes it was a bit wet/muddy but it could have been worse!

Thanks for the accolade Nick! I did think prior to the ride I might struggle with the road biased tyres (Avon Gripster both wheels) but they did cope admirably(for me) and yes did seem to fair better than the bikes shod with TKC's?

Hope to see you and Martin again soon and may plan a ride out down on Wiltshire/Dorset borders using the Shaftesbury/Ox drove if any forum members are interested?

I will post it up on rideouts/meetings section when I have given it a bit more thought.

Yes it was good fun . I was very impressed with the teneres might have to upgrade .
Mind you my Old xt still does allright .
Mark (Stridey ) must be an off road god he didn't come off once.

Looks like a blast!
Where about in E Sussex was it? I'm from Bexhill but touring the States at the Mo. Making me feel a bit home sick for some wet grey weather.

We started at Wessons Cafe in Horam. The green lanes are all between there and Polegate area - The Old Coach Road, Robin Post Lane etc..
