Stage 1/2 cam

Hi Kev,ok so engine wise I've got stage 1 and 2 DNA filters, snorkel removed,Kev fuel mod,4mm oversize headers and Mivv carbon cans and adjusted CO up to 20 from 13 and I'm loving it but would like a bit more bhp without spending a fortune so my question is,is it worth putting a stage 1/2 cam in without modifying the head ie,gas flowed excetra, with a cam would I really need to get a PC to get the most out of it and what make of cam do you recommend,is OTR's cam any good, cheers.

I would go straight to a stage 2 Hot Cam, I got 59 rear wheel HP. With the OTR cam you really need to add more compression as their cam is like a stage 3 Hot Cam & looses lots of bottom end when using stock compression ratios.

With all your mods now I would be saving up for a PCV or PCIII to correct the A/F ratio, you will definetly need a Power Commander with the hot cams.

I have a custom made fuel map for the stage 2 hot cam 660cc which will help you in the mean time until you can get a custom made map made.

Ok,excuse my ignorance but do the hot cams for the raptors fit straight into the xtx with no problem and can I just go on eBay for one or can I get them through you or xt 660.com.thanks for taking the time to help out.

2006 to 2009 Raptor Hot Cams will fit the XT, you also need the decompressioner bits from a Raptor

http://www.xt660.com/showthread.php?t=5895&page=4

You can buy the decompressioner bits from USA Ebay for around $60.00. Get the below guys to supply the cam sprocket with the complete cam.

You use the decompressioner parts from the standard cam below + sprocket from the Raptor 700 & fit them to your stage 2 hot cam.
