re-painting the tank
 

Had a big off descending a hill on the Ten on Sunday, managed to put a large scrape in the tank, has anyone re-painted their tank before? Any tips for this? I have ordered new transfers, as these were knackered in the fall, it looks like their is a lacquer/clearcoat that has been applied over these, is it as simple as sanding back to a clean surface and then hitting it with plastic paints?
