30mm handlebar risers

I ordered some 30mm risers thinking that's about the max I can go with the cables... I checked after ordering and noticed the electric cables wouldn't be a problem but the throttle cables wouldn't work even with 10mm risers as they are routed from factory...

Any idea what's the best way to route them and the easiest way to do it?

Not that this helps but yours must have been routed different as my 30mm fitted straight on. What a git I am.

They seem routed just like in the diagram from the service manual... i think i have enough clearance with the electric cables from max turn left to max turn right but the throttle cables seem kind of tight when turning max right even without the risers.

I had exactly the same problem,

I used a renthal enduro high with 25mm risers , this is intotal 50mm

throthle cable and more important brake front cable was too short ,

checked it for a few days but couldn't get it right ,
took it too the dealer for maintenance and he installed goodrige front brake hose and removed my tank where he could easisly reroute the throttle cable , now I have more then enough play on the cable

only bad thing is it costed me a fortune , dealer had to check him self how to do it and easily spent a few hours on it ... , and you now dealer hours aren't cheap ...

Venhill nr. Dorking, Surrey will do all the cable work, luckily they are only 6 miles from me, but, you can do "mail order", which is the main part of their business....:toothy9:

Got them fitted. Although initially looked like throttle cable was too short and brake line also, in the end everything works well with 30mm risers with enough free play. Not the huge difference i was expecting when standing up. Also a bit more flex in the handlebar. But overall it feels better and got more gap between the handguards and car mirrors when filtering.
