Hello!

I'm interested in MTC exhausts. But in our country, bureaucracy is so f*cking powerfull and LAME (as is our goverment) that there is a full year procedure and an infinite number of doors to knock on just to get to no solution. So, they complicate so much that even if product has all required papers it is NOT enough just to have product certificate papers with you, but you also have to go to some stupid "technician" office (and pay a bunch of money) to write the same sh*t to some OTHER (very important for mankind) document, explaining that this product is REALLY legal, as smartly found by our "specialist" bureaucrat.

Anyway, sorry for off-topic. I kinda wanna puke on our parlament doorsteps.

So, the point of all this writing is: can anyone scan certificate or homologation papers for single pipe titanium (or steel) exhaust, so I can print it and go to f*cking citizen-robbery office and ask if I will be able to make this exhaust legal on our bumpy roads at all.

Thankyou very much!

You can ask for this directly to MTC, please email Martin at this address:
sales@mtcexhausts.co.uk

Remember to tell him that Fran from xt660.com referred you to him.
Good luck

Hi everyone,

I ordered 2 days ago (Wednesday) an oval single MTC can with twin outlet through Captmoto. On top of the good advices on which can I should go for and reassurance on the fitting of the can, the whole process was easy and fast.
I received the can this morning (Friday), and it will be fitted tomorrow if the weather allows me to.

In brief 5 stars service!!!

Did I mention the 10% discount as well?!

Will post pics asap.

ps: Needless to say that I do not gain anything from telling you this, just good service and professionalism must be acknowledged...

Thank you Paul, your cheque is in the post...... ooops (Zut Alors) I shouldn't have said that..... haha, just joking

Well you see this is not me that should be praised but indeed MTC for the faultless service they provide, it's just so happen that msaint lives in London so let's say delivery was quite fast but even for clients in Europe, the longest it has taken has been 5 weorking days, and less than two weeks for Australia / South Africa and even Sout America. That accounts for a very good service and I am very happy to deal with a young company with a positive attitude and sharp response.

Could anybody make a couple of photos of removable baffle? Mine was lost somewhere in wilderness, I dropped a line to MTC to order new one, and they said that they will give me one for free as garantie issue, I only had to pay for shipping. Payment was send, but still do not received anything - 6 months passed.. (and no more answers to my emails as well((( )

So I want to make my own - and need a couple of pictires how it's made... Thanks for your help.

MTC black oval exhaust

Hi, I want to share my experience with buying MTC exhaust.
I ordered and paid it on Sunday, and on Thursday next week exhaust arrived. I have to mention that I am from Slovakia so 4 business days is pretty impressive time for delivery to middle Europe!
Exhaust is really nicely made and installing it on Tenere took me about 2 hours and I was basically playing with it so I think anyone can easily do this because you receive all you need from MTC.
I just started Tenere and do a little ride around corner. Exhaust is a bit louder then standard one but its really not that bad as some users described (with db killer).
To make my point I did not want extremly loud exhaust so this is exactly what I wanted. But I will definitely try it also without db killer :)
I will test it properly on sunday ride and post some pics also.

So far I am very satisfied with MTC exhaust purchased directly through CaptMoto.

About exhaust itself. I really like the way it behaves. If you are riding at some stable speed noise level is comparable with standard one. But when you rev it the sound is really nice and of course louder then standard. I like also that you dont need to change gears so much as bike is speeding up from revs just above 2000.
And of course without db killer Yama sounds like proper enduro bike. Its good in the city so everyone in traffic can hear you. I will use db killer on some longer travels.
It is maybe a clich, but everytime I twist throttle big smile appears on my face http://www.xt660.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
