Found 2 loose wires
 

I removed my seat off my '09 X where the little space is at the rear of the bike I found 2 wires and connectors anyone any idea where they are from or are they 'spares, I hope the following photos show them.

They're for an alarm. I think the round 2 pin connector is for the indicator connection and the squarer one for the connection to the ECU?

Are they as they should be ? -- not connected to anything

im in agreement with Pleiades, alarm wires they are. exactly the same as my 09 r.

My 05 has them. What kind of alarm can you fit to those connectors? Is it a Yamaha alarm or are those for aftermarket alarms?

any update on those two wires,, what exactly are thyey for,, an what can ye connect to them

This was already replied in previous posts asking the same questions.

The two additional wires are there to connect an alarm, because it can be sold by Yamaha as an optional feature.
