Hepco-Becker Xplorer Topcase

Hello,

would you recommended the Xplorer Topcase?
I'm currently undecided between this one and the SW-Motech Trax EVO.

Since both cost the same, I'm currently more concern about the size and quality. Maybe 45L is just too much for normal commuting?

Thanks for your help.

I've got the HB Xplorer and the size isnt a problem. Used to have on the back of my old Xt660Z and now have it on my XT1200 . Quality wise I'd say its ok but I've not seen a SWmoto one to compare to. For info its made of moulded plastic bottom with alloy sides glued and rivited with plastic and alloy top. Keys are quite small so can be fiddly with thick gloves. The hinge is plastic and in my hamfistedness i broke a couple of the hinge "teeth" though this doesnt stop it working.

another advantage for the hepco is the way it opens. you can grab a bottle of water or something from it while still mounted.

I got the SW-Motech one.

Only problem so far is a little bit of rust on the connecting hooks/anchor points.

How do you attach the EVO case to the Tenere?

You need to have the SW-motech luggage rack (came free with my bike) and an adapter plate:

its all quicklock so you can take it off in 5 sec.
