Fitted some LED spotlights

After loads of searching i decided on 1500 lumen LED spotlights, bought from Hong Kong. at 30 each they are a good valve for money option. not the cheapest option overall, as the 55w ring lights from halfords that some use only cost 30 per pair but i'm not keen on the look of them and the extra drain on the power supply is an unwelcome side effect. So the low drain 20w LED it was then.......

inspired by some brackets i saw on here i bought some metal from b&q yesterday and set about making a bracket.

Nice lamps, how do the perform ?

A word of warning, as the steel you've used is quite thin, keep an eye on the foldes for signs of fatigue. I moved from 20x5 mm steel to 25x5 after one long term tester's cracked. It was after going to the moon and back, but fore warned is fore armed as they say.

They worked well when I checked the alignment last night but there was too much traffic this morning to try them out. Ref the bends - I applied some heat while bending to reduce the fatigue stresses so it'll be ok I think.

well i at last got a chance to use them this morning. wow i can see clearly now! those little lights sure do brighten up the road, well worth the effort. very cold blue light, even cooler than the 100w 'blue' tinted bulb.

Ive been runing them for a few months and no issues at all. There superb lights I think. Like I said earlier though check the rear is screwed in tightly or they will vibrate lose. Im glad your pleased with them
